Cacao Ceremony

We welcome you to gather with us in beautiful ceremony, spending an afternoon in retreat with ceremonial Cacao, sound healing with Valerie Griffiths and a beautifully effective guided group meditation & hypnosis for deep relaxation and peace. Together we learn, unlearn, share and connect to open our hearts, calm our minds.

Our space will be opened with a copal smudge while warm mugs of ancient cacao being poured & sharing the wisdom of cacao as medicine. We will weave history & mythology to bring light to the shadow of our present day world and assist us in acclimating and “making some sense” of what we as a collective humanity and spiritual beings are experiencing, to feed our inner fire and spiritual hearts.

The gift of the Cacao Spirit to us is that She helps us to see where we are withholding our own morsels of light, and then mirrors to us our own insight and aspects, ready to return home... to yourself.

Nola, our guide has been a professional in the healing arts for 20 years and has been devoted to working with ceremonial cacao as a healing medium since 2011. She will be stewarding our healing journey where we each will receive, release and connect to the gorgeous spirit within us. In our modern world we must intentionally create the space to shed what is no longer serving us and remember, in loving community, we are already whole.

During these ceremonies, many of us experience Cacao’s medicine as being in spiritual partnership with our soul’s truth and intuitive bodies – igniting their presence in our awareness. This may be an opportunity to open our hearts to what’s possible!

Space will be limited for everyone's highest experience. Pre-registration is required.

Each participant will receive a One World Cacao gift to bring home and continue their own journeys and integration within.

Maya Moon Massage

An Afternoon Retreat

Honoring The Womb & New Moon

SUNDAY MAY 1 | 2 - 5pm | The Sanctuary |  Portsmouth, RI

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT - REGISTER HERE

This begins the first of our monthly self-care gatherings. Each month between the New and Full Moon cycles we will gather for ceremony and hands on self-care practices to nourish and welcome inner resiliency. We have intentionally chosen to gather this month on the New Moon leading us to Mothers Day, as the feminine energies and our monthly cycle, will flow with this lunar guidance, the perfect time for new beginnings and setting intentions.

It is in the understanding of many of our ancient cultures that true health and balance within our Being rests in the harmony of our internal organs and energy systems.

Did you know that you can learn how to care for your own womb and reproductive system through hands on massage and healing techniques and therapies? That your cycle and fertility has its own wisdom just like you and true resiliency begins as we open and create inner relationships with ourselves. Mayan Abdominal Massage is the perfect gateway to this innate wisdom within each of us.

Your afternoon retreat will open with a warm cup of ceremonial cacao to gently melt your mental clutter, open your heart and settle you deeply into the nurturing arms of sacred community and healing space.

Nola will then guide us through an informative introductory self-care abdominal massage, focused upon our wombs and the inherent wisdom ready to connect with you from within. Incorporating techniques and wisdom rooting from the traditions of Taoist and Mayan abdominal therapies.

We will then apply home-made and herbal infused castor oil packs upon our bellies with gentle heat and lay to receive profound healing energies and a guided journey to our sacred core and original essence.

To close we will sip our hormone balancing cacao husk tea with hibiscus + rose spice and light snacks we bring as a community to share together. This will be a time to share, to release and to welcome in through a group of fierce, graceful and vulnerable feminine voices. To support and find similarity in all of our journeys and bring any shadows to the light together. This group is not limited to women, yet in full support of the rising feminine awakening upon this planet.

You will leave this afternoon retreat rejuvenated, inspired and transformed, with new skills in your pocket and a whole lotta love in your heart.

Almost every woman, including those who have had hysterectomies, can benefit greatly from uterine massage through improved circulation, lymphatic drainage, and a decrease in the formation of scar tissue.

Uterine massage is not performed: 1) during menstrual bleeding; 2) within the first 6 weeks following a normal vaginal delivery or the first 3 months after a c-section; 3) for a woman using an IUD for birth control; 4) if cancer is present or suspected anywhere in the pelvis, or the client is undergoing chemotherapy for this condition; 5) during the first trimester of pregnancy; or 6) hiatal hernia - gentle touch only.

Indigenous Peoples Day

We welcome you to join us for a very special One World Cacao Ceremony, Wisdom Teaching (new!) & Sound Bath on Indigenous Peoples Day.  REGISTER HERE

The medicine of these teachings coming through is so potent, grounding & powerful that we have decided to open our doors both in person and virtually so our community can gather from anywhere around the world!!

We will weave history & mythology to bring light to the shadow of our present day world and assist us in acclimating and “making some sense” of what we as a collective humanity and spiritual beings are experiencing, and feed our inner fire and spiritual hearts.

To open the first of our Wisdom Teachings we proudly Welcome Maura Parra, a numerologist & life coach who works with biomagnetism & floral essences from Guatemala. Our founder Nola considers Maura one of her elders and teachers and is honored to share her work and wisdom with our One World Community.

In Maura’s words:
“Human History is the best reminder that cycles have been a great constant in humanity, and wars have been a cruel way of losing so many people. Our people in Guatemala were no exception, and since 1492, which was when the Spaniards arrived on this side of the world, they came to deceive our Indigenous people, who, although they did not have a conventional education, their wisdom in the face of the cycles of the Moon and the Sun, the crops, the hierarchies, the respect for Mother Earth; the equinoxes and solstices, agriculture, was far superior to that of the so-called conquerors. Everything about us so important, and so despised.

Later, history allowed the elites of Guatemala to manipulate in order to become rich, using the peasants on both sides to fight a war where in the end the only ones who came out winning were the leaders, living as the great rich and famous while everyone the peasants who were taken from their homes to be used on behalf of both sides, will fight a war, dying many, while the leaders never suffered what it was like to be away from their families, from their way of life. In wars, those who are in the battles are the big losers, and the leaders, no matter which side, will always be the winners.

However, the history of Guatemala is not the only one. This history has been replicated with many countries, in the name of equity, in the name of freedom.

This is what we see, what we experience, however we know that the history of humanity has been marked since before the Sumerians. Life after life, many souls have been choosing to return to Mother Gaia with the aim of evolving as souls and experiencing the third dimension, since it is here on one of the few planets (if not the only one), where we can experience it, as well as duality. In our way of seeing what has been happening, we know that it has not been fair.

However, from the moment we understand the story, if instead of being victims, we choose to recognize our inner strength and take responsibility that it is we who have decided to be here, the focus of life changes. We are grateful to be able to serve, to be companions on a journey where today we are observed, as an experiment in many other dimensions, and it is there where we take the strength of our ancestors, and we rise together, to be able to evolve not only as people, but as humanity.”

Our afternoon will begin at 2pm at the Sanctuary in Portsmouth Rhode Island, where we will light the ceremonial fire, prepare our cacao brew together and open our ceremonial space and container.
Nola will open our space with warm mugs of ancient cacao being poured & sharing the wisdom of cacao as medicine and its potent history with us before welcoming our very special guest and wisdom teacher, Maura Parra- direct from Guatemala. To integrate your experience Kimberlee will offer us a sound bath & a channeled energy transmission with Nola. There will be a Choco Chillout afterwards to socialize, share, connect with new friends, sip a tasty cacao elixir and purchase cacao and ceremonial wares for your own home or studio.

no one will be turned away due to finances, please just reach out! ♥️🍫

We will all share in drinking a warm mug of ceremonial cacao while enjoying and taking in all of the colors, textures and bustling life that creates the cleansing power of the oceanside.

The beach brings out playfulness and open radiant hearts.

Cacao’s medicine is in, yet not limited to, opening hearts, bringing clarity, spiritual partnership and igniting our intuitive bodies.

What a perfect medley to drop deeply into meditation and inner space together.

For thousands of years human beings have utilized sound and music for healing and connection.

We have invited in the truly angelic Kimber-Lee Jacobson to guide our sound healing journey.

She is a Westport yoga studio owner and advanced energy medicine and sound healing practitioner.

With cacao opening the gateways to our hearts, the powerful healing container Nola stewards & through the conscious use of sacred sounds we will stimulate healing and awakening at a cellular level while sitting back and listening to the seaside.

We will gather on the beach next to the moat on the middle of the beach. Across from the main parking area at third beach, parking is available here (seasonal passholders lot)- parking is free after 4pm. Easiest to walk on the road to the moat and you will see us set up for ceremony.

Parking is free after 4pm, so come early and enjoy a swim or walk on the beach before!
