This very ancient and sacred stone-grinding technique has been passed down to us from one of our local Mayan Nana Abuela (female shaman). Before there were any beauty products available to the women, they would use a very specific and labor-intensive stone grinding technique that masterfully separated 5-10% of the naturally occurring cacao butter. From this product, the ladies could beautify themselves and hydrate their skin, lips and birthing bodies.

What we have found in utilizing this very special cacao blend is that, with just a small percentage of the cacao butter removed, we are able to receive the energies and healing benefits faster and on a much deeper level. We recommend this cacao for ceremonies and ceremonialists; it carries the deepest and highest energy complex for inner work. It’s more gentle on sensitive stomachs as well.
